I specialize in language neuroscience, I work with brain potentials and psycholinguistic experiments, and the main focus of my research is the effect of social and environmental factors over reading comprehension and processing. Our current lines of research include: 1) socioeconomic differences in syntax and semantic processing of school-aged children, 2) sentence processing and its relation to reading comprehension in adults and 3) L1 transfer effects on L2 acquisition and processing.
