My research have focused in studying the relationship between intuitive (nonsymbolic) and formal math abilities in children, in particular in the development of proportional reasoning and fraction knowledge. I have conducted computerized training interventions to address how these two forms of knowledge relate to each other. I have combined cognitive assessments with psychophysical tools and EEG.
