I study how teaching abilities develop in children. In particular, the main focus of my research is to understand how peer tutoring can help promote learning processes which are otherwise difficult to achieve, such as conceptual change and learning of programming languages. I aim to understand how peer tutoring attains its benefits, whether it impacts both tutees and tutors, and what strategies children use when they engage in it.
