My research is located at the intersection of developmental psychology and educational research. I am exploring pathways to a truly individualized instruction that leverages recent advances in educational technology and insights from developmental psychology. Current projects include developing methods to easily activate prior knowledge in elementary school children and implementing computerized formative assessment in remedial education for struggling readers.
