I am a brazilian psychologist and my main research interest is numerical cognition. More specifically, I have been investigating the interplay between language (lexical and phonological aspects) and number transcoding. I am interested not only on how linguistic aspects influence numerical cognition but also on broadening these findings from basic research to inform diagnostics and remediation of mathematical learning difficulties.
