My current research investigates the use of social visual engagement indices (measured via eye-tracking) as predictors and progress monitors of school readiness and literacy development for children with autism and associated communication disorders. I am also interested in the social neuroscience of performing arts (e.g. theater, music, dance), and the mechanisms by which arts education promotes positive social development in a broad spectrum of children.
