I am a psycholinguist interested in how expectations guide language processing. Using behavioral methods, my research focuses on how we use pragmatic inferences to solve referential ambiguity. Until now, I have studied language processing in adults, but I am currently interested in language acquisition and development. I am particularly interested in how expectations modulate children’s behavior and how children adapt to new (linguistic) situations based on what they learn from the environment.
