In my research, I investigate how bilingualism impacts neuro-cognitive networks, whether these changes in mechanisms allow bilingual infants and children to successfully acquire their language(s) and become fluent, and how children come to learn and understand from their culture(s). Through experiments (including neuroimaging fNIRS and fMRI), I investigate what allows children to learn their language(s) successfully and provides them with the skills to succeed academically.
