My main focus of interest is memory, in normal and pathological conditions of functioning. I am currently doing a research project for my PhD thesis on the role of sleep on memory. In this project I work with datas from an epidemiologic study with the population from the city of São Paulo (datas colected in 2007, with follow up in 2016, with the same participants), verifying the relation between sleep parameters and memory complain. We also investigate if sleep parameters in 2007 predict change of complaint in 2007 to 2016.
Besides this, I´m involved in a study with amnesic patients, which investigates the relation between long term memory and working memory.
